It was established in 2022 by Stretch Zone and National Day Calendar to raise awareness of the many benefits of stretching. 



 






 






Stretching can have many benefits, including:






  • Improved posture






  • Injury prevention






  • Stress reduction 



     






     







  • Improved flexibility and mobility

  • Reduced muscle tension and stiffness

  • Improved circulation and blood flow






To get the most benefits from stretching, you should stretch regularly, at least two to three times a week. You can stretch for 5 to 10 minutes at a time, or even stretch for a short time every day or almost every day. You can stretch when you wake up, before bed, or during breaks at work.
